Gobelins 動畫系成立超過三十年，學校位於法國巴黎。巴黎市政府在七零年代為促進當地動畫工業發展，而設立三年制的專業動畫製作系所 。學校的老師均為有業界實務經驗的背景 ，讓學生在學習過程中就能與動畫工業接軌。學生畢業後均進入法國知名動畫公司工作，近幾年更有多人加入國際動畫產業的行列，如迪士尼、皮克斯、夢工廠等。
在學學生平均年齡在十八到二十六歲之間。Gobelins三年動畫課程規劃十分注重手繪的訓練，以數位為輔助工具。為了學生畢業後進入動畫公司作準備，在課程方便更針對動畫師作課程加強，如觀察力、表演 、時間掌控、 動畫等訓練。
Gobelins十分積極跟外界建立合作機制，與歐美等動畫學校建教合作，包括課程、老師及學生的交換計畫。2002年開始與法國安錫國際動畫影展合作，讓學生以團隊合作的方式製作影展片頭。在影展期間，每場影片的放映前，戲院都會播放這些學生製作的三十秒片頭，幾年下來這些短片已成為安錫影展最重要的影像標誌，而專業精緻的製作，也成功將學生推上世界舞台 。

 

Introduction

Gobelins’ department of animation has been established for over 30 years, with the school campus located in Paris, France. During the 70s, in order to generate the development of local animations industry, the Paris Government established the 3 year, professional animations production department. Lecturers from the school are all equipped with practical industry experience, which allows the students to get in touch with the animations industry during the process of learning. Students graduating from Gobelins have all entered prominent animation firms, with more people joining international animations industry such as Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks Animation etc.

With an average student age of 18~26 years old, the 3 year animation course at Gobelins emphasizes training on hand drawings, supplemented by digital enhancement tools. In order to prepare the students for entering animation firms after graduation, the course work on animation is strengthened, and includes training on observation, performance, time control and animation etc.

Gobelins proactively seeks collaboration with other organizations, and has already built cooperative relationships with animation schools around Europe and the US, including courses, exchange programs for lecturers as well as students etc. In 2002, Gobelins collaborated with the Festival International du Film d'Animation d'Annecy, which allowed the students to work as teams and produce titles for the film festival. During the festival, the students’ 30s titles were shown before the beginning of each film. For the subsequent years, these short films have become the most important trademark of the Festival International du Film d'Animation d'Annecy. The exquisite, professionally produced films have also catapulted the students onto the global stage.
