Supinfocom校本部位於法國北方的城鎮 Valencinnes，1988年法國政府為了促進電腦數位動畫的發展，由經濟部出資辦學，是獨立於一般法國正規學制的五年藝術專業學校。2001年更開設supinfogame，致力於電腦遊戲的教學。
經過二十年來的洗鍊 supinfocom的學生畢業作品在國際知名的動畫影展屢獲大獎的肯定，更在2007年獲得美國3D world雜誌獲選國際最具影響力的動畫學校。2001年於Arles設立第二校區，去年在印度Pune成立海外分校。
Supinfocom的學生從剛入學開始，階段性地從摸索開始循序漸進，大量實地操作，延請國內外專業人士經驗分享，為不同背景的學生找到相互理解的溝通點，但又保留個人特質以及其各自沈澱累積的文化觀點，學校老師針對不同的能力興趣來做一對一指導。前兩年學校安排基礎的藝術訓練，像是素描、色彩學、雕塑、設計、電影分析等課程，後三年則安排電腦繪圖，3D電腦軟體、故事腳本、剪接、音樂等。
Supinfocom的校風自由，重視如何激發學生靈感及獨立創意的發想，更重要的是培養團隊合作 這也是這學校最重要及獨特的教學精神。他們要求每位學生在畢業製作時都需要找到自己的團隊，四到五人一組完成一部動畫短片。透過這樣的製作經驗，讓學生成功的找到自己創作的立基點，也難怪supinfocom的作品已成為國際動畫影展得獎常客。
Introduction
The main campus of Supinfocom is located in the northern French town of Valencinnes. In 1988, in attempt to stimulate the development of animation, Supinfocom was founded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the French Government. It is a standard French, 5 year professional art school. In 2001, Supinfogame was established, dedicated to the teaching of computer games. After 20 years of experience, the graduation presentations from students of Supinfocom have received numerous accolades in internationally acclaimed animation film festivals. Furthermore, in 2007, it was selected as the most influential animation school in the world by the 3D world Magazine in the US. In 2001, a second campus was opened in Arles, while an overseas campus was established in Pune, India last year.
As of enrolment, students at Supinfocom are progressively put through their paces by undertaking a great deal of practical work. Experts from at home and abroad are invited to share their experiences, in order to bridge communication with students who come from diverse backgrounds, while preserving their personal character and cultural perspective. The lecturers at school conduct one-on-one tutoring based on the differing abilities and interests of the students. For the first 2 years, fundamental art trainings are organized by the school, such as sketching, chromatology, sculpturing, design, film analysis etc, while the last 3 years involve computer drawing, 3D computer software, story script, editing and music etc.
Supinfocom has a liberal tradition and places great importance on how to stimulate the students’ inspirations as well as independent, creative thinking. More important is teamwork; this is the most central and unique philosophy of the school’s teachings. The school asks every student to build their own team for the graduation presentation; a team of 4~5 students must collaborate to complete an animated short film. Through such production experiences, the students are able to successfully discover their creative standpoint; it is no surprise that the works from Supinfocom are regular award winners in international animated film festivals.
