動畫在數位內容產業中極具發展潛力，其誇大、變異、奇幻的獨特影像近年來更 應用在數位藝術創作中。台灣這幾年動畫相關科系如雨後春筍的建立，培育出來的學生創作出不少優秀的作品，而一些有心朝原創的動畫公司，也藉由製作短片來測試市場。

這次邀展的台灣動畫短片來自2008-2009這兩年的製作，除了台灣學界業界的創作外，也有海外留學生的畢業作品，共十九部片。其中多部在國內及歐美等知名國際影展上獲得獎項的肯定，更有在網路上超過百萬人次下載的紀錄。媒材技術多樣，有鉛筆手繪、偶動畫、物體動畫、實體動畫、拼貼、動作描圖、3D電腦等。在題材上除了紓發個人情感的失戀、愛情、親情、友誼，也有涉及社會議題、像是墮胎、憂鬱症；有敘事完整的劇情短片、詩意般的抒情小品、更有視覺張力的實驗片。

這些多元樣貌的精緻作品，不但展現新生代導演的旺盛創作力，也為台灣動畫界注入一股新的勢力，令人期待。

 

Introduction

Animation have great development potential in digital contents industry, their abundant employment of exaggerative, mutative, and imaginative techniques in presentations have been using in digital artistic creation in recent years. The department of animation in Taiwan are flourishing over the years, lots of great works are create by the students that they nurtured, and some Determined to move original animation production company ,also test the market by making short films.

These sort films of Taiwan were produced between 2008 and 2009, there will have 19 productions, acquired from the Taiwan and American educational and industrial sectors. Most of them have award-winning recognition on famous domestic and international film festivals, even more, they have record that more than million viewer on internet. We are not only variety in production techniques but also in the subject, such as for Personal feelings、social issues like abortion and melancholia even experimental pieces with Visual Tension.

 
These fineness films with multiple appearance make people look forward to it. Because these not only revelation the vigorous creation of young director but also a new steam of power for Taiwan’s animation.
